Judy C Hu, O.D.

Dr. Hu graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She attended optometry school at the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry. She completed her residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As a resident, Dr. Hu had extensive training in treating and managing ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. She also worked closely with faculty from The Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute and experts in various sub-specialties.

It was during her residency that she developed a strong interest in glaucoma.

After completing residency, Dr. Hu joined a general ophthalmology practice in Baltimore and provided routine eye care and ocular disease management.  Her passion for treating glaucoma brought her to The Glaucoma Center, PC. 

When Dr. Hu is not working, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her rescue dog Buddy.
